2022 De Bortoli Handcrafted Heathcote Shiraz

Matured for 9 months in French oak casks. Dense inky black colour with a deep vibrant dark red black tinged hue. Prominent aromas of liquorice and blackberry fill the nostrils followed by dark plum, vanillin cedar and earthy dark chocolate notes. Rich plush liquorice, blackberry and dark plum fruits are underpinned by a distinct earthy characteristic with some vanillin cedar, dark chocolate and spice also apparent. Fine grained tannins with a generous, slightly chewy and spicy conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
