Pretty red berry fruit aromas are laced with earth and discreet spice wisps. The succulent, delicious and rounded flavors possess an attractive sense of energy while delivering good length on the only mildly rustic finish that is firm enough to repay 3 to 5 years of keeping if desired. The 2022 Bourgogne Rouge includes around 25% whole bunches. The bouquet offers red cherries and strawberry fruit, just a little earthy in style. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins. It’s a strict and slightly austere Bourgogne Rouge that will deserve a year in bottle. Drink 2025-2030.
