2022 Domaine Christian Salmon Sancerre

Domaine Christian Salmon is a family owned estate located in the Coteaux Buetons, covering 15 hectares within the appellation of Sancerre and 3.25 hectares in Pouilly Fume. For six generations the Salmon family has been growing grapes and making wine.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of lime and green apple have a herbaceous grassy overlay with some asparagus and stony mineral notes also evident. Intense lime and green apple fruits infused with herbaceous grassy elements have a zesty feel across the racy palate. Asparagus, wet stone and mineral characters also chime in. Finishes dry with crisp acidity and a long aftertaste. A highly scrumptious Sancerre.
