2022 Domaine de la Vougeraie Beaune Les Greves Premier Cru
Other Reviews....
More evident wood influence is present on the beautifully layered aromas of red and dark cherry, forest floor, spice and pretty floral nuances. The rich, moderately concentrated and palate soaking medium-bodied flavors display focused power on the firm, serious and built-to-age finale. This is excellent and well-worth a look provided you intend to cellar it for at least 5 or so years first. Drink through 2034+.

A pretty mid crimson purple. The nose shows some expression of attractive ripe fruit, which builds beautifully on the palate, more red fruit than black. Indeed, the Beaune Grèves is built more on a fruit acid structure with just a few light tannins at the finish. Notably persistent, but not a bone crunching Grèves. Drink from 2030-2037.
