2022 Domaine des Hates Chablis

Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Green apple and lime scents are interspersed with pear, wet slate and flinty mineral notes. Nicely shaped the palate features fleshy pear and lime fruits over a stony mineral and chalky oyster shell back drop. Brisk acidity finishing dry and long with a river stone like feel.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

A very good, modern style, with great concentration on the palate and attractive stone fruit notes kept in check by the lively acidity and a mineral note to finish. Will appeal to many different types of consumers. Drink 2024-2028.
