2022 Eldorado Road Quasimodo Nero d’Avola Shiraz Durif

A blend of 35% Nero d’Avola, 33% Shiraz and 32% Durif sourced from the regions of Eldorado, Beechworth, Glenrowan and Rutherglen with 20% whole bunch inclusion and maturation in French oak. Deep black dark purple colour with a dark purple hue. Dark plum and liquorice aromas are accompanied by scorched earth, black cherry, leather and pepper notes. Fresh dark to black cherry and liquorice fruits are underscored by vibrant acidity with earth, subtle vanillin cedar and spicy dried herb elements lying underneath. Elegant feel with fine grained tannins and a savoury mid length conclusion.
