2022 Evans & Tate Wild Cape Chardonnay

Wild fermented and matured in French oak barriques for a period of 11 months. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a subtle tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe peach, melon and citrus are followed by delicate grapefruit end notes. Nicely rounded in the mouth with peach, nectarine and melon fruits to the fore. Finishes dry with a dash of gun flint. Crisp acidity with a slippery textured conclusion.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
