2022 Franz Haas Sofi Rosso

Review Summary: Deeply fruited with dry chalky tannins and bright acidity leading into a slightly grippy finish.

The Detailed review: A blend of Lagrein and Shiraz along with a small amount of Merlot. Pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated ripe blackcurrant, dark cherry and liquorice aromas intermix with Mediterranean herb, inky earth and spice notes. Rich juicy blackcurrant and liquorice fruits have an inky back drop of earth, fresh herb infusions and spice. Dry chalky tannins and bright, youthful acidity with a slightly grippy yet deeply fruited finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
