2022 Gibson Discovery Road Il Minestrone

A blend of Shiraz, Graciano, Grenache, Mataro, Merlot and Montepulciano. Very deep black core with a dark purple red hue. Flooding the nostrils are aromas of morello cherry, dark raspberry and liquorice which are complimented by some dried herb, earthy incense and spice notes. Rich and juicy, the mid weighted palate is awash with morello cherry, dark plum, dark raspberry and liquorice fruit. Some dried herb, earthy incense and spice elements lie underneath. Ripe slightly chewy tannins. Excellent concentration finishing long and succulent yet savoury.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
