2022 Hahndorf Hill GRU Gruner Veltliner

The benchmark for Gruner Veltliner in Australia. Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinged outskirts and watery hue. Lifted fresh pear and red apple skin aromas mix with hints of spicy green apple and light quince notes. Refreshing yet intensely flavoured, the mouth watering palate is flooded juicy pear, guava, green to red apple and lime fruits. Subtle quince elements and a dash of spice lurk in the background. Boasting superb concentration and a luscious textural feel it has lively yet very well integrated acidity and concludes with a long moreish aftertaste.
