Liz Heidenreich is a significant figure in Australian winemaking, but perhaps more so for her work with riesling. This holds 2gL residual sugar – no sweet whatsoever, but there’s a little extra pliancy and bounce. Scents of red apple, blackcurrant, pink grapefruit and flint. Flavours are also red apple oriented, doused in lime juice, flecked with ginger and finishing steely and flinty. Drinkability is high here. Refreshment factor, too. And that sense of detail ... it’s great stuff. Drink 2022 - 2035.
