Impenetrable pitch black heart with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Intense cassis, dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate aromas flood the nostrils with some vanillin oak, mint and earthy mocha notes ensuing. Rich cassis and dark plum fruits have a plush feel over a vanillin oak, subtle dark chocolate and earthy mocha back drop. Polished tannin structure with a long opulent finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
Classic left bank cabernet sauvignon. Left bank of the Para River that is, in the famed subregion of Dorrien. Deep magenta/crimson with fruit aromas of plush blackberry, black cherry and blackcurrant. Nary a herbaceous note to be found. It's all layered spice, licorice, créme de cassis, kirsch, tobacco pouch and softly spoken cedar tones. Weighty and wonderfully ripe and silken, tannins superfine and melting back into the black fruits and finishing long, fruit pure with a slightly savoury lean. Drink by 2040.
