2022 Humis Vineyard Grenache
Semi translucent dark red colour with black toned edges and a light red hue. Fragrant dark raspberry and ripe cherry aromas mix with red liquorice, light earth and vanillin spice notes. Light to medium weight, succulent raspberry and cherry fruits overlay a liquorice and vanillin confectionary back drop. Velvet smooth tannins with a juicy yet quite savoury finish that has a dash of spice to it.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 14.5%
Other Reviews…..
Pitch-perfect scents of sweet spice and blueberry lead to a super-delicious palate laden with bright red berried fruit, violets, crushed fennel and musk. The appeal of this wine is obvious, in the best of ways. It's bright, perfumed, strung with fine-grained, flavoursome tannin and while complex, it's juicy and energetic throughout. It's a light and lovely wine, for drinking now-ish.

Campbell Mattinson – James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion
A lightish grenache from young plantings, this boasts fidelity to type, fine-boned tannins and with that, incredible promise moving forward. Very pretty wine. Mid-weighted of feel in context. Accents of tamarind, raspberry pastille, pomegranate, thyme and tea tree. Those tannins are stellar: nicely gritty, long-limbed and strident, arcing across the palate from attack to seamless finish. Drink or hold briefly. Screw cap.
