2022 Izway Bruce Shiraz

The Bruce was the first wine Izway produced and since it’s inception in 2003 it has always been unashamedly Barossan with rich fruit, power, depth, texture and structure all hallmarks of this outstanding wine. Fruit was sourced from four different Barossa Valley vineyards located in the sub districts of Koonunga Hill, Ebenezer, Greenock and Moppa with vines varying in age between 12 to 126 years old.

Rich, super dense and exceptionally concentrated this is powerhouse Barossa Shiraz at it’s best.

Magnificent colour featuring an impenetrable inky black heart and an equally deep dark red black hue. Intense dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate aromas soar out of the glass with some smoked meat, vanillin cedar and peppered earth notes also evident. Rich, super dense and exceptionally concentrated, the palate is a skyscraper of flavour, packed end to end with lavish dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and dark chocolate fruits. Boasting enormous power and torque notions of vanillin oak, subtle earthy mocha and delicate spicy fennel are detailed across the back half. Opulently textured with a velvet smooth yet underlying firm tannin structure it has an explosive finish that’s laden with decadent plush fruit.
