2022 Jim Barry Lodge Hill Shiraz

Spicy mid weighted Clare Shiraz with a gentle chalky feel to the finish.

Matured for 12 months in French oak. Impenetrable inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of liquorice and dark plum are interwoven with smoky vanillin cedar and peppered earth notes. The spicy medium weighted palate features plum, blueberry and liquorice fruits over vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and pepper elements. Fine, slightly grainy tannins and fresh acidity impart a gentle chalky feel onto the mid length finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
