2022 Les Peyrautins Merlot

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Dark to black currant and ripe mulberry scents emerge from the glass with some dried herb, tobacco and spicy earth notes also evident. Rich fleshy dark to blackcurrant fruits are layered across the mid weighted palate with some mulberry, dusty earth, dried herb and vanillin spice elements lying underneath. Polished tannins with a deeply fruited medium to long finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
