Aged in cement and stainless steel tanks for a period of 12 months. Pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. The nose is presented with pronounced blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromas which are married to vanillin spice and peppered earth notes. Rich succulent liquorice and blackberry fruits engulf the mouth complimented by back half characters of ripe black cherry, scorched earth and blackpepper. Chewy tannins with a long opulently fruited conclusion that’s laced with pepper and has a robust feel to it.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
