2022 Masseria Borgo dei Trulli Primitivo

Midnight black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of black cherries, liquorice and black plum fill the nostrils followed by some vanillin earth and cinnamon spice notes. Rich, luscious black cherry, black plum and liquorice fruits carry good weight and an opulent feel with some scorched earth and vanillin spice and cinnamon characters lingering underneath. Ripe chewy tannins with a juicy yet slightly robust conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
