2022 Masso Antico Primitivo

Juicy, mid weighted Primitivo with ripe dark to black fruits carrying a plump feel.

Yet again this wine has been rated a massive 99 points by Italian wine critic Luca Maroni. Deep dark red colour with black shaded edges and a red to dark red hue. Ripe black plum, morello cherry and liquorice scents intermix with scorched earth, vanilla and cinnamon spice. On the mid weighted palate ripe dark to black plum, morello cherry and liquorice fruits have a plump feel with earthy vanilla and cinnamon spice elements the undercard. Velvety tannins with a juicy mid length conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
