2022 Montalto Pennon Hill Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with highlights of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of white peach, nectarine and dried honey meld into subtle biscuity oak, crème brulee and spicy nougat notes. The intensely flavoured mid weighted palate is layered with appealing white peach and nectarine fruits which are complimented by dried honey, delicate cashew, nougat and spice characters. Possessing nicely integrated acidity and a supple, gently creamed texture it shows superb depth and finishes long, refined and well fleshed.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
