2022 Mr Riggs Yacca Paddock Tempranillo

Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Black cherry and liquorice scents are followed by hints of scorched earth, vanillin cedar and spice. Rich fleshy black cherry and liquorice fruits drive the mid weighted palate with notions of vanillin cedar, subtle earthy graphite like characters and spice also chiming in. A sturdy yet nicely integrated tannin structure imparts a subtle chewy feel. Finishes with good freshness and a savoury aftertaste of ample length.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
