2022 Naked Run The Aldo Grenache

A rich, juicy Grenache with a long pepper laced conclusion.

Produced from 80 year old dry grown vines with maturation taking place in older French oak barriques. Dark red core with black tinged edges and a red to dark red hue. Fragrant spicy dark raspberry and liquorice aromas mix with hints of scorched earth, vanillin cedar and pepper. Rich, succulent dark to black raspberry, liquorice and ripe black cherry fruits swamp the mouth with notions of scorched earth, vanillin spice and pepper also chiming in. Ripe fleshy mouth feel with polished yet faintly chewy tannins. Long, juicy pepper laced conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Fantastic value in this impressive youthful Grenache which offers alluring aromas of red licorice underpinned by dark earthy nuances and crushed spices. Excellent overall vibrancy with meaty tannins well matched to fleshy flavours that hold over a lengthy finish. Delicious now and over the medium term. Drink 2024-2030.
