2022 Oates End Tempranillo

A refined, mid weighted Tempranillo that features red to dark cherry, plum and liquorice fruits, fresh acidity and a savoury finish.

Dark red core with black toned edges and a dark red hue. Red plum and spicy cherry scents mix with some red liquorice, dried herb and subtle spicy earth notes. The refined, mid weighted palate features red to dark cherry and plum fruits alongside some liquorice, earthy dried herb and spice characters. Fresh acidity and fine grained tannins with a subtle juiciness to the savoury mid length finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Cath Oates is chuffed with her ’22 tempranillo. Understandable – it’s delicious. An alluring dark purple-red hue with cherries of the same colour all spiced up with a touch of menthol and licorice. A little earthy and savoury, and the medium-bodied palate is alive with juicy acidity and svelte tannins with a texture of raw silk. And not a technical term but 'yum'. Drink by 2027.
