2022 Pietradolce Etna Rosso

Made from Nerello Mascalese grapes. Semi translucent red colour with black toned edges and a light red hue. Drifting from the glass are red cherry and blood orange aromas which are subtlety infused with a mix of scorched earth, dried herbs and spice. Juicy red and morello cherry as well as blood orange fruits carry plenty of energy across the light to mid weighted palate. Crushed rock and earthy Mediterranean herb characters lie underneath. Slightly grippy feel with chalky tannins and tangy acidity leading into a finish that’s fresh and spicy.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Grapefruit, fresh cranberries and mineral on the nose. Fresh and almost tangy on the palate with zesty citrus and a firm backbone of tannins. Nicely grippy and structured. Drink in a year or two.
