2022 Primo Estate Il Briccone Shiraz Sangiovese

A blend of 85% Shiraz and 15% Sangiovese aged in older oak barrels for 12 months. Dense inky black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated dark plum and liquorice aromas are followed by some black cherry, subtle earthy black olive and spicy vanillin cedar notes. Rich and luscious, the full bodied palate features dark plum, liquorice and black cherry fruits over a spicy vanillin cedar and peppered dried herb back drop. Bright acidity and ripe chewy tannins with a long succulent pepper laced finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
