Aromatically perfumed with a supple feel and long ripe yet savoury finish.

Semi translucent dark red heart with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Perfumed aromas of violet, dark cherry and strawberry evolve out the glass with excellent intensity. Ensuing are notes of red plum, dried herb, bramble and spicy cedar. Delicious dark cherry and strawberry fruits have a supple feel across the palate with some anise, subtle rhubarb, dried herb, brambly cedar and spice elements lying underneath. Fine grained tannins with a long ripe yet savoury finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.3%

Other Reviews…..
Made from 90% whole berries with a small portion of whole bunches. Matured in barriques (25% new). A lively, light, bright crimson. Fragrant with scents of wild strawberry, cranberry and floral notes. Medium bodied, the palate is lively, fresh and pliant, while refined tannins round out a lovely wine that is both immediately appealing and will also reward four to six years cellaring, if not longer. Drink by 2029.
