Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Nosing offers up ripe strawberry, plum and cherry aromas followed by some vanillin spice and dried herb notes. Juicy plum and strawberry fruits overlay a dried herb, rhubarb and vanillin spice back drop. Polished tannins finishing ripe, well fleshed and spicy.

Other Reviews….
A single-vineyard wine from Moorabool; 90% whole berries with a small portion of whole bunches, matured in barriques (25% new). A deep-ish bright crimson. Brooding with aromas of red cherries, ripe strawberries, black tea and a gentle meatiness. This is the richer and more structured than Provenance's Ballarat and Henty pinots. While not quite as approachable now, my gut feeling is this will become the most complex in time. They are all worth seeking out! Drink by 2031.
