2022 Redman Coonawarra Shiraz

Dense inky black colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Elevated dark plum and liquorice aromas are intermeshed with toasty vanillin oak, subtle earth and peppered dried herb notes. Medium bodied the palate features juicy red plum and red liquorice fruits over a vanillin cedar, dusty earth and pepper back drop. Youthfully fresh in its feel it has fine grained tannins. The medium length conclusion a touch inky.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

This immediately enticing 2022 Shiraz offers up a delicious mix of sweet and savoury with choc blackberry aromas lifted by strong scents of toasted cloves and wood smoke. Vibrant yet measured, with excellent overall purity and a solid base of tannins. Slightly closed with a long, tight finish now but has the integrity and balance to build nicely. Drink 2030-2042.
