2022 Roaring Meg Pinot Noir
Matured for 9 months in French oak Roaring Meg is the second label of Mt Difficulty. Dark red in colour with black toned edges and a vibrant red hue. Elevated aromatics of dark to black cherry, anise and rhubarb sail through the nostrils followed by some dried herb, scorched earth, forest floor and meaty notes. Rich, juicy dark to black cherry, anise and dark plum fruits carry wonderful concentration and flesh across the light to medium bodied palate. Notions of scorched earth, spicy dried herbs and forest floor linger across the back half. Supple in its feel it has polished tannins, excellent power and a long moreish conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 14%
