Deep dark red heart with black toned edges and a bright red purple tinged hue. Exotic dark raspberry, red liquorice and red to dark cherry aromas subtlety infused with clove enchant the olfactory senses. Notions of scorched earth and pepper also chime in. Delicious spicy dark raspberry, cherry and red liquorice fruits light up the palate with notions of subtle clove, earth and pepper adding further nuance. Sturdy yet nicely integrated tannins provide an excellent framework. Concludes long, generously fruited and peppery.
