2022 Shaw & Smith Sauvignon Blanc

2022 is the 33rd vintage produced of this benchmark Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc. Fruit is sourced from Shaw & Smith’s estate vineyards at Balhannah and Lenswood, complimented by fruit from a small number of highly valued growers.
Brilliant water like colour with a faint tinge of green around the edges. Sailing out of the glass with more than ample intensity are passionfruit, green apple and lime scents which are trailed by some herbaceous mineral like notes. Power packed passionfruit, lime and crunchy ripe gooseberry fruits are delivered with terrific drive and concentration. Green apple, subtle herbaceous grassy characters and minerals also chime in. Mouth watering acidity finishing long and scrumptious.
