2022 Smith & Hooper Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

A medium to full bodied blend well endowed with rich red to black fruits backed by a solid structure.

Inky black heart with a vibrant dark red black tinged hue. Elevating their way out of the glass are blackcurrant and mulberry scents infused with black olive, cigar box, earth and spicy dried herb notes. Medium to full in body, the palate is well endowed with rich red to black currant and mulberry fruits which overlay a cedary tobacco, dried herb, subtle earthy black olive and bay leaf back drop. Fine, slightly grainy tannins provide a solid structure. Nicely fleshed it has a medium to long finish infused with spicy bay leaf.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
