Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright red to dark red hue. Sailing through the olfactory senses are aromas of red raspberries, liquorice and red cherries followed by some fresh herb, light earth and pepper notes. Rich and succulent, the palate is awash with red to dark raspberry, red liquorice and cherry fruits. Also poking through are infusions of fresh herbs, subtle vanillin confectionary and peppered earth elements. Juicy and fresh in its feel with polished tannins and energetic acidity. Long bright red fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
Alc. 14.5%

Other Reviews….
This is good grenache, capturing the contemporary zeitgeist of crunchy red fruits melded to a raft of salty, gritty, thirst-slaking tannins, refined, impressive and strident. Full-bodied. Kirsch, clove and rosewater, just a little sweet of fruit and oak, feeling a bit torrefied. A work in progress, but a very good one.
