2022 Torbreck Cuvee Juveniles

Sourced from vines aged between 40-150 years old, Cuvee Juveniles is a blend of old vine 45% Grenache, 36% Mataro, 17% Carignan & 2% Counoise that sees maturation in a combination of stainless steel and large format French oak.
Very deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry aromas sail out of the glass followed by some dried herb, earthy incense like notes and pepper. Medium to full in body, the rich, sumptuous palate is flush with succulent dark raspberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits which overlay a spicy back drop of scorched earth, infusions of incense and peppered meats. Ripe, faintly chewy tannins finishing long, juicy and youthfully exuberant.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
