2022 Vanguardist Wines Grenache Mourvedre Rose

Translucent salmon pink in colour. Delicate aromas of pear, water melon and winter strawberry intermix with hints of musk and wet stone. Refreshing pear, citrus, water melon and strawberry flavours overlay a wet slate back drop. Finishes very dry with crisp acidity and a brisk, gently tangy aftertaste.
Drink over the next year.

A pallid coral, flecked with onion-skin edges. Gorgeous. Tangerine, cumquat and freshly lain tatami straw. The acidity, dutiful. A mid-weighed, fresh and immensely savoury rosé that leans on a chewy rail of phenolics and a swirl of white miso lees work doused with raw almond and orange oil. A quinine bite to conclude a delicious experience. Drink by 2024.
