2022 Yalumba Samuel’s Collection Barossa Shiraz

Matured for 10 months in 10% new French and Hungarian oak hogsheads. Dense black core with a dark red black tinged hue. Lifted dark plum and liquorice aromas mix with vanillin cedar, scorched earth and pepper notes. Rich and succulent, the palate features blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits over vanillin cedar, scorched earth and pepper. Velvet smooth yet sturdy tannin structure with a lick of youthful freshness to the long generously fruited and peppery finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
