2023 Airlie Bank Pinot Noir

Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black toned edges and a vibrant light red purple tinged hue. Fragrant violet, red raspberry and strawberry scents flood the nostrils trailed by fresh herb, subtle forest floor and bramble like notes. Delicious, fresh and juicy, the palate features red cherry and winter strawberry fruits over a delicate rhubarb, dried herb, forest floor and spicy bramble back drop. Bright acidity and fine grained tannins finishing elegant, energetic and supple.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

60/40% whole berries/bunches; pressed to older French oak and stainless steel. A light cherry red. Crushed red berries, a little blood orange and some herbal notes can all be found in this brightly fruited and immediately appealing wine. There's a nice touch of grip on the palate, too, giving the wine shape and ensuring it will still be looking good three to four years from now. Drink by 2027.
