2023 Aunt Alice Ocean Chardonnay

A well rounded, fruity, mid length Chardonnay.

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted pear and nectarine aromas mix with hints of dried honey, bees wax, faint biscuit and spice. Expressive pear and apple fruits are nicely fleshed across the palate with some citrus and spice the undercard. Brisk acidity with a well rounded, fruity mid length finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

A wonderfully creamy, expressive chardonnay from the Tamar Valley; barrel fermented wild, 15% new french oak, 25% mlf, nine months on lees. Light straw in the glass with juicy white peach, nectarine and citrus fruit tones cut with hints of clotted cream, wildflowers, poached pears, custard, apple turnover and crushed stone. Creamy and textural with a lemony purity and wonderfully transparent, detailed vibe as it slowly trails away. Drink by 2029.
