2023 Babich Sauvignon Blanc

A classically styled Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that regularly vies for New Zealand’s best value Sauvvy B. Brilliant water like colour with a faint tinge of green around the outskirts. Pungent herbaceous gooseberry and passionfruit aromas leap out of the glass trailed by some green apple, grassy asparagus and mineral notes. Super scrumptious passionfruit and ripe gooseberry fruits are delivered with abundant power and concentration. Green apple, herbaceous grassy characters and zingy minerals linger underneath. Excellent volume finishing dry with racy acidity and a long moreish aftertaste. Difficult to imagine better bang for your buck than this.
