2023 Banks Road Pinot Noir

Semi translucent red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Blossoming out of the glass with a perfumed like intensity are aromas of violets, dark cherries, strawberries and rhubarb which are tied to dried clove, brambly cedar and spice notes. Making a light and supple yet powerful entry are spicy dark cherry and rhubarb flavours with some dried clove, brambly cedar and forest floor characteristics lending further nuance. Polished tannins and lively acidity lead into a long savoury conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
