2023 Brave Souls The Lighthouse Keeper Riesling

2023 was a cool season with a long slow, and dry, ripening period which delivered pristine Riesling fruit with an abundance of flavour and natural acidity. The fruit for this wine was sourced from two vineyards within the higher altitude and cooler sections of Eden Valley.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense lime, citrus and orange rind scents are paired with chalky talc and mineral notes. Concentrated lime, citrus and orange rind flavours have a mouth watering effect across the palate with talc, green apple and chalky mineral elements lying underneath. Crisp acidity finishing dry, long and scrumptious.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
