2023 Brokenwood Chardonnay

Sourced primarily from Beechworth with some additional Yarra Valley fruit. Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish toned edges and a watery hue. Lifted white peach, nectarine and dried honey scents sail through the nostrils followed by some biscuity nougat and spice notes. Beautifully shaped in the mouth with fleshy white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours overlaying biscuity nougat, subtle cashew and delicate flint characters. Excellent concentration and richness are counterpointed by fresh, vibrant acidity. Finishes long and generous yet has an energized feel.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
