2023 Chalk Hill Tempranillo Grenache

Fruit was sourced from McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley. Deep dark red black colour with a bright red purple tinged hue. Attractive dark raspberry, liquorice and blueberry scents sail through the nostrils followed by some vanillin spice and subtle inky earth like notes. Juicy cherry, liquorice and spicy dark raspberry fruits are layered across the mid weighted palate with infusions of fresh herbs and earth lying underneath. Fresh acidity and fine grained tannins with a vibrant blue fruited finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
