2023 Crabtree Estate Watervale Riesling

From vines aged between 22 to 46 years old. Brilliant water like colour with a greenish tinged outskirts. Intense lime, citrus and orange rind scents jump out of the glass followed by talc, green apple and mineral notes. Concentrated and texturally mouth filling, the palate is awash with scrumptious lime, citrus and orange rind flavours which are underscored by crisp acidity. Talc and mineral elements ensue. Finishes long, mouth watering and quite voluminous.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

This is a very punchy vibrant Riesling providing a compelling state of the Watervale region for Riesling…if it was ever really needed. It’s loaded with lemon and lemon rind on the nose with some nice floral touches. The palate typically is intense, extending purposefully to a very long finish. Drink 2024-2036.
