2023 Craigie Knowe White Label Pinot Gris

Fermentation was started in stainless steel tanks then finished off in seasoned French oak barriques for added complexity.
Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Intense ripe lychee and Jonathan apple aromas intermix with musk, hints of rose water and ginger. Luscious pear and Jonathan apple fruits have ginger and faint musk undertones. Finishes spicy and very dry with a slightly chalky feel. Brisk acidity leads into a spicy dried pear and ginger driven aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
