2023 Domaine Chantemerle Chablis Vieille Vignes

A mouth filling Chablis that’s quite forward and ripe in style.

Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle greenish tinge to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of lime and green apple mix with some subtle oyster shell notes, light pear and wet stone. Quite forward and ripe in style, the palate features concentrated pear, lime and green apple fruits over an oyster shell, faint dried honey and smoky mineral back drop. Texturally mouth filling it has brisk underlying acidity which freshens up the stony mineral laced finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
