2023 Domaine Les Fouques Tradition Rose

A blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Cinsault. Translucent salmon pink in colour. Delightful peach, raspberry and cherry aromas sail through the nostrils complimented by some wet slate notes. Concentrated and mouth filling, the palate features fleshy peach, raspberry and pomegranate fruits which have a full and rounded textural feel. Subtle infusions of musk and wet stone lie underneath. Superb drive with brisk acidity, finishing long and moreish.
Drink over the next year.

Peach tea, melon, a herb and floral perfume, fennel seeds, strawberries too. It’s juicy, but balanced, lots of fresh strawberry and raspberry, bright acidity, a chalky and dusty texture, succulent with it, a glycerol slipperiness, though it finishes tight, with a twist of blood orange and excellent length. Nice. Drink 2024-2027.
