2023 Kenny Wine Polish Hill River Riesling

From vines planted in 1979 Kenny Wine is the side project of Pikes winemaker Andrew Kenny. Brilliant water like core with highlights of green around the outskirts. Intense lime and lemon aromas intermix with orange rind, chalky talc and flinty mineral notes. Mouth watering lime, citrus and orange rind flavours are layered across the racy palate with terrific concentration and power. Lying underneath are notions of talc and chalky minerals. Crunchy acidity finishing dry, long and scrumptious.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
