2023 Les Peyrautins Merlot

Review Summary: A rich, amply fleshed Merlot.

The Detailed review: Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Ripe plum and blackcurrant aromas mix with dried herb, earth and vanillin spice notes. Rich fleshy dark plum and dark cherry fruits overlay a spicy back drop of dried herbs and subtle tobacco. Good concentration with slightly chewy tannins and a ripe mid length conclusion.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
