2023 Montalto Pennon Hill Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a greenish tinge to the outskirts and a watery hue. Attractive nectarine, white peach, biscuity oak and subtle dried honey scents drift out of the glass with good intensity. Subtle cashew, citrusy nougat and spice notes ensue. Delightfully refined, the mid weighted palate features nectarine and white peach fruits over a biscuity nougat, dried honey, cashew and spice back drop. Gorgeously shaped it has a gentle creamy feel and concludes long, expansive and fresh.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
